Daniel Buehler

Daniel is a graduate student researcher working on packaging DNA into the vault particle. He is also working to develop a technique to package drugs into the vault using targetable lipid bilayer fragments. The ultimate goal in each case is to use the vault to deliver DNA or drugs to cells for treatment of disease. Daniel got his dual B.S. in Biochemistry and Biology from the University of New Mexico in 2005. When he's not in lab, he enjoys movies, getting lost in LA, and exploring the great outdoors on his bike.
