Open Postdoctoral Fellow Position

Postdoctoral fellow position opening in the Center for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in Dr. April Pyle's laboratory.  Expertise in human pluripotent stem cell and/or muscle biology is a plus.  Looking for recent Ph.D. graduate with rigorous training in stem cell biology, muscle biology and/or animal models of disease.  Dr. Pyle's research focuses on human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) and differentiation of these cells for use in regenerative medicine.  Dr. Pyle is interested in evaluating the functional potential of hPSC derived muscle cells for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and evaluating gene editing approaches in combination with stem cells for DMD applications.  Dr. Pyle is actively looking for talented postdocs to join her research program.
